KI series universal and reinforced thermal protector are widely used in electric motors of industrial, household appliances and other electric equipments. The KI-67 series can effectively and reliably prevent from the damage caused by overcurrent and overheat. The reinforced shell is suitable for the internal installation of motors with plastic package, which can stand 3.5Mpa of plastic molding technics . The product performance complies with the standards of IEC34-11, GB13232 and GB/T 13002 etc.

KI series thermal protector is made up of heat conductive metal shell, bimetallic components welded with silver alloy contact, electricity onductive holder, insulated fixed base, static contact piece and heat resistant leads, etc. When the current goes through the bimetal components with impedance, if the current rises or the environmental temperature rises to the preset value, the bimetal components will work immediately   and release the contacts to shut off the circuit. By contrast, when the device cools down to the safe temperature, the contact point will reset automatically, recovering to normal working condition.
